He was a valiantand war-like prince, and fought the following battles: the battle ofClaire, the battle of Moigen Cgiath, in Connaught; the battle of GlaiseFraochain, where Frachain Faiah was killed; and in his reign the Pictsagain refused to pay the tribute imposed on them 250 years before, byHeremon, but this Monarch went with a strong army into Alba and in thirtypitched battles overcame them and forced them to pay the requiredtribute. Aongus was at length slain by Eana, in the ba ttle of Carman,1409 BC
